Throughout the lecture, the audience learn how Ben Andrew views the topic of teenagers. This is due to the fact of his experience and that fact that he has been through this. He knows how it feels to be judged by the society and how low these teenagers stand in society. Ben introduces the word that is used to describe the teenagers under council estate. The word he introduces is the word ‘chav.’ A word he describes to be often used to describe teenagers under the council estate. Plan B believes that the description of teenagers who are poor is fairly exaggerated.  He says that the society has false ideologies towards poor teenagers. He believes that the media tends to exaggerate the state of these teenagers and they tend to twist the stories to make the audience view these poor teenagers negatively and as unimportant. Ben Drew talks about at the end of the lecture ways in which he tried to contribute and start programme's  in order to help the youth and to improve their lives. He tries very hard to help these youths as he was once part of them and he was once misunderstood by the society. He is against the stereotypical view of the society when it comes down to the youth.
Plan B understands what these youths have been through and why they tend to behave the way they behave. He says it is due to the fact that they are completely forgotten and ignored by society. He realizes that he was once in that position and that he was neglected by the society. Drew also recognizes that because these youths go through so much they learn to be friends with people in similar situation so that they are never alone.  He tries to portray the youth the way they deserve to be portrayed and he acts as their voices, he speaks what they would say. He also mentions how the media tends to portray them. He talks about how the media only wants to show the dominant ideology and how the media represents the youth as being violent heartless and a bad sight for tourists. The media makes the society have a very negative view towards these kids although they are not aware of the state these kids live in, how many difficulties they go through and hardships.
Drew was aiming for and targeted an elder audience.  He had a very educated and wealthy audience. This is because he wanted to get it through to them about the real situation. These people would fit in the mainstreamers category as they are very educated and have important jobs in society. He was trying to show them that the dominant ideology of the youth is based on false ideologies. Explores would also be a small percentage of his audience. This is because explores tend to want to discover more and if the learned about the reality of teenagers they could contribute into helping them and improving their lifestyles. He wants to speak up to the audience and he wants to show them the positive side of the youth. He want to show them that they shouldn't believe what they read on the newspaper or what they watch on the news as most it is done to please the society .
Looking at what Stanley Cohen says, moral panic is condition, episode, person or group of people emerges to become difened as a threat to social values and interests.'
