1)  Research all the Institutions involved in the production of Ill Manors. List them with a summary of what their contribution to the film was. ?The script of Ill Manors was partly based on actual events and stories Drew had when he was young, such as a woman prostituting herself in order to repay a drug dealer. The film had been in development for three years prior to filming, however Drew struggled to secure finance for his film. Ill Manors was Greenlit for production in 2009 as part of the Film London Microwave scheme. Ill Manors was financed by Film London, BBC film and supported by Skillset, The UK film council and the MAYOR LONDON. For the production of the film, Drew hired both experienced and inexperienced  actors and actresses. The principal photography began at 1st September 2010 at Milles Studio. Filming lasted four weeks at locations in London. Editing began at December 2010 however, it was delayed due to Plan B being at Defamation Of Stickbland Banks tour during 2010 and 2011
2) How much Ill Manors cost to produce (its budget)The budget of ILL MANORS was £100, 000
3) Creative Skillset, was the first of its kind and has gone from strength to strength in the past few years.Creative Skillset is the Sector skills Council  which supports skills and training for people and businesses to ensure the UK creative industries stay competitive and productive.
4) Ill Manors audience are people aged form 18-25. This movie is aimed at British people who live in an urban area as most of the things demonstrated in this film are things experienced by people who are age from 18-25. Working class are also aimed as most of the things that take place in the movie are things experienced by working class as they can't afford to have  a cosy comfortable life. This movie can be watched by mainstreamers as it is as a movie that affordable and entertaining to watch, explorers are also likely to watch it as they explore things and they would want to explore and see what the less fortunate ones experience in their everyday lives.
5)Who is the main distributor of Ill Manors?
The main distributors for Ill Manors include Revolver Entertainment and Benelux film distributors.   Revolver Entertainment is a marketing-lead, all rights film distribution company. Founded in 1997, the company has operations in both London and Los Angeles. Benelux Film Distributors (BFD) is a joint venture of various independent film distributors and markets a wide range of films in Cinemas in the N Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg.
6)How was Ill Manors promoted?
To promote the album, Atlantic Records partnered with live stream production company LoveLive to deliver a live stream event of the album launch party to YouTube. This movie was also promoted via viral marketing.  Videos of the trailer and music videos were put on youtube and the movie was promoted through facebook and twitter.
7)Compare this with a big budget blockbuster. What are the main similarities and differences?
I think that for one, there isn't as much quality as there wasn't as much budget as blockbuster films, and the lower quality was very evident and noticeable. Another thing is the acting. As the actors weren't wildly known, they weren't as good as other actors in other movies but this is partly because most of the actors were inexperienced. Another thing is that in this film is that it's not as known as blockbuster films. I, personally, never heard about this movie apart from when It was introduced by our Media teacher. I believe that on similarity is the excellence in the movies. I think that this movie is as good as any other blockbuster movies and the excellence in the movie is evident throughout the movie especially if the movie is watched by the right audience.
8) How does the trailer for Ill Manors hook audiences into the narrative and pose questions that the film will answer? Identify 3 ways/techniques? ACTING- the acting is very realistic and the actors act in a manner that hooks the audience as most of the audience are able to relate to the things that happen in the movie. SHOTS- the camera shots used, such as close-up and extreme-close up are used adequately as they show every little detail and help the audience pick up small details.Enigma codes- there are many enigma codes that the audience hope to solve and figure out throughout the movie.
9) How does the trailer for Ill Manors balance plot and spectacle?
I think that the trailers is suitable for the movie, as after watching the movie the audience learn that the trailer shows what takes place in the movie and it helps the audience know before hand what is going to take place in the movie and what they should be expecting as they are watching the movie. The trailer shows the lives of working class who end up becoming drug dealers for the males and become prostitutes for women. The trailer shows that life isn't easy for the working class and it shows how the 'rich boys' look down to the poorer ones, and through the movie this is exactly what we see. Overall, the trailer demonstrates whats going to take place throughout the movie in few minutes.
10) Think about the certificate of Ill Manors (18 certificates). Research film certification and outline what is deemed acceptable for this certificate. What is the difference between a 15 certificate and an 18 certificate?
The following is a list of what is most likely to warrant a 15 certificate, although it is a very rough guide:
The work as a whole must not endorse discriminatory language or behavior.
Drug taking may be shown but the film as a whole must not promote or encourage drug misuse. Promotion of drugs which are easy to obtain are unlikely to be allowed.
Strong threat and menace are permitted unless sadistic or sexualised.
Dangerous behavior (for example, hanging, suicide and self-harming) can be allowed provided the detail of such is low so that it cannot create too much of an impression of the viewer. Abuse of weapons which are easily obtained will not be tolerated
Frequent use of strong language can be permitted, although very strong language needs to be restricted and would have to be seen as reasonable in the context. Frequent usage of very strong language would be seldom allowed.
Nudity in a sexual content must be restricted however nudity in a non-sexual content does not.
Sexual activity without strong detail would most likely to be allowed. Some strong sexual references may be allowed to, but very strong ones may not, unless used within reason. Sexual acts or references with the intention of causing arousal is not likely to be permitted.
As long as the film is appropriate for 15 year olds, no certain themes are prohibited.
Violence may be strong but should not dwell on the infliction of pain or injury. The strongest gory images are unlikely to be acceptable. The same applies to references. Any sexual violence should be discreet and be strongly justified
18 rated movie: Only adults are admitted.
Nobody younger than 18 can rent or buy an 18-rated VHS, DVD, Blu-ray Disc, UMD or game, or watch a film in the cinema with this rating. Films under this category do not have limitation on the bad language that is used. Hard drugs are generally allowed, and explicit sex references along with detailed sexual activity are also allowed. Scenes of strong real sex may be permitted if justified by the context. Very strong, gory, and/or sadistic violence is usually permitted. Strong sexual violence is permitted unless it is eroticised or excessively graphic.
