The advert uses many techniques to make the audience get attracted. It shows that the Guardian can be accessed through a computer as well as getting through a newspaper. It shows that the information on the guardian can be accessed through phones, Ipads as well as computers. This shows that you don't necessarily need to purchase the newspaper to receive the information on the newspaper. It also shows that the Guardian is a company that interacts with you as the users are giving feedback and their personal opinions. 

The newspaper is represented as a advanced newspaper. This is due to the fact that the newspaper is available on different things. It also represented as being a reliable source of information as what appeared on the newspaper were actual facts that took place. The newspaper is represented as being unbiased and represented as giving the truth. The guardian is also presented as being a source that provides information fast. This is shown through the fast pace of images of people receiving the information.

The advert advertises the Guardian as it shows that the Guardian is one of the newspaper that can also be accessed online. This is seen as an important fact as in today's society smartphones are seen as an importance therefore having this app makes it easier for many. This advertisement is promoting the Guardian newspaper as well as adverting smart phones and Ipads. There is synergy taking place. 

Looking at this advertisement, we learn that this advertisement is aimed for an rather older audience. This is due to the fact that the newspaper is naturally read by more older's than a younger audience. The fact that the newspaper is accessible on smartphones and ipads probably makes this advert also aim for a younger audience as they are mainly the ones involved with smartphones and ipads.
