Throughout the movie low and high key lighting is used. At the beginning till 00:09 second low key lighting is used to emphasis on the mysteriousness.  The lighting quickly changes to high key. This is evident as there aren't any more shadows on her face. This could be used to show that everything is not as it appears. If she was able to change from mysterious to bright, there must be something about her that’s suspicious.  The scene changes from them talking to walking away happily. There’s a shot of a painting behind them. There’s then a shot of each character in the movie. This is probably done to introduce the audience to each character. Films don’t do this anymore. Films begin and as the story goes the characters are introduced, so the film industry is changing. There’s then a change of scene where we see three men talking to each other. The lighting used in that scene is high key lighting; this is to show their facial expression and to show that there isn't anything suspicious going on. There’s then a quick change of scene that shows the woman and a man talking from the beginning. On the woman, high key lighting is used. However, on the man, low key lighting is used on the man. This could be suggesting that the man may be someone suspicious. There are a lot of shadows that can be seen on his face. There’s then another change of scene.  The next scene is of a man and woman talking in a house, and then we go back to the initial couple talking. They talk then walk on, with the woman surprised. There’s then a scene of a man walking in and injuring a woman and a man surprisingly. There’s then a text that reads ‘Never more daring’ the word ‘daring’ is the only word in italics. This could be symbolic of something bad happening in the movie. There’s a then quick change of scenes to shows parts of the movie.
